Cancellation & Changes

Draft only. Cancellation rights must match the actual contracts with each property, transport supplier and booking entity. Do not publish until reviewed and confirmed.

Before booking

Provide a written quote that states the cancellation schedule, refund method, supplier charges, administrative charges, deadlines, and any non-refundable amounts before the customer pays.

Guest cancellations

Insert the applicable schedule by product and provider, including how to give notice, how the cancellation date is calculated, and when any refund will be processed.

Changes and substitutions

Explain whether changes are permitted, how revised prices are handled, and what happens if a retreat changes or cannot provide a confirmed service.

Provider cancellations and disruption

Explain options for rebooking, substitutions or refunds, subject to the booking contract and applicable law. Include a fair process for major travel disruption and exceptional events.

Travel insurance

Encourage travellers to consider appropriate insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses and travel disruption. Do not imply insurance replaces any rights the traveller has under applicable law.
